Instructions and Help about Are Form 5495 Appeals

Hello partners my name is Katherine from the partner experience team today I'll show you the difference between a warning email and a disablement email then I'll show you how to select a policy appeal form the first thing to look at is what email notification you received if you receive a warning notification it will look like this the email subject will say Google AdMob action required to avoid immediate observing disruption the current observing status will say active and there will be no issue ID on the email if you receive this kind of email notification you do not need to file an appeal to the AdMob policy team this is because the ad serving status is still active nevertheless please be aware that if you do not make changes to bring your app into compliance ad serving may be disabled at a later date simply review the email fix the policy violation and update your application to make it compliant with our policies if you've received a notification that your ad serving has been disabled it will look like this the email subject will say Google AdMob ad serving has been disabled to your application the email will specify that ad serving has been disabled to a particular app and there will be a unique issue ID on the email if you receive this kind of email notification you do need to file an appeal to the AdMob policy team to re-enable ad serving but first you'll need to review the email fix the policy violation update your application and then submit the AdMob policy appeal form when you are ready to file the appeal form you can access it directly from your email notification or through the Help Center it's very important to complete the form correctly otherwise your appeal may be automatically rejected insured to use the correct email address the one that the notification email was sent to fill out the publisher ID of your AdMob account you can find the publisher ID in the account information section of your account settings copy and paste the exact issue ID that you received from your email notification input the correct app name an app store and ensure that you use the correct app ID depending on whether your app is located on the Google Play Store or the iTunes App Store the app ID will be different if your app is Android and on the Google Play Store your app ID should look something like if your app is iOS and on the itunes app store your app ID should be a nine digit number something like this in the final section of the policy appeal form please write down what were the exact changes you made to bring your app into compliance with our policies so if your app was disabled for having a banner ad that overlapped your apps content you could tell the team that you re implemented the banner ad so that it's no longer covering any content once complete you can click Submit and the AdMob policy team will get back to you within a couple of working days there is no need to send more than one appeal or to contact the support team thanks for watching Music
